LaunchIt President and Founder Susan Fall focused on the transportation industry early in her career—and that singular passion continues today. Following graduation from UC Santa Barbara and a stint as the media/sponsor relations manager for the U.S. Canoe and Kayak team, Susan joined tech pioneer Qualcomm in 1993 and witnessed the revolutionary impact of GPS on the trucking industry. As the marketing and communication manager in the Omnitracs division, she recognized a lack of PR for transportation technology startups and credible guidance for companies entering into and engaging in the freight transportation industry. She saw companies struggle and fail, not because their technology products failed, but because they had no way to enter and gain traction in the very complex and highly relationship-oriented freight transportation industry.
In 2000, Susan took her marketing communications and public relations expertise and industry knowledge to market and founded LaunchIt Public Relations as a PR firm focused on helping freight technology companies enter, grow with and become leaders in their specific transportation industry segments.
Now, with nearly two decades under her leadership, LaunchIt’s strong and passionate dedication to the transportation industry and the field of public relations has made the company a premier PR firm and agency of record for some of the most successful technology companies in transportation.
Susan’s passion and expertise are widely recognized by her clients and the industry. She's considered a PR star and trucking technology expert.
