Jerry Sigmon, Jr., Chief Operating Officer, has been a member of the Cargo Transporters, Inc. team since August 2000 where he has been instrumental in driving technology advancements, including their mobile app for drivers and the use of in-cab cameras. His responsibilities at the carrier include the recruiting and retention of drivers, customer service and emergency preparedness. Sigmon is also the past chairman and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Trucking Association.

Sigmon received his degree in Industrial Relations from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
