Integrity Express Logistics Deploys MacroPoint
Non-asset and asset-based third party freight brokerage is enabling a freight tracking software integration to manage loads monthly
CLEVELAND, OH – May 24, 2017 MacroPoint, creator of patented freight tracking software designed to give shippers, 3PLs, brokers and carriers real-time visibility into load status, today announced that Integrity Express Logistics has enabled a full integration with its TMS and plans to double the number of loads it is tracking using the company’s software.
“MacroPoint was the right choice for a full integration with our TMS because it is a proven solution,” said James Steger, operations manager at Integrity Express Logistics. “We do not gamble with our customers’ loads. We’ve used other tracking software but with MacroPoint, we get a highly refined and accurate technology that is clearly better than their competition.
“In our brokerage operation, some of our customers were requesting load tracking, especially for high value loads,” Steger added. “Adding MacroPoint is something we want to do for all of our customers, including loads hauled by our own assets, because load tracking is a way to ensure customer service. Once the full integration is in place, we expect the number of loads being tracked by MacroPoint to double.”
Steger also noted that with a goal of growing at least 75 percent per year for the next five years, Integrity Express Logistics expects a fast return on its investment in MacroPoint. The value the company anticipates, he related, comes from using the integrated solution to save time by tracking loads without having to log into a separate portal or make check calls to update load locations and status in the company’s TMS.
Headquartered in Blue Ash, Ohio, Integrity Express Logistics is a veteran owned, non-asset and asset-based third party freight brokerage that provides national and regional freight transportation solutions with its own fleet, dedicated owner operators and trusted large-scale fleet operators. The company also has facilities in Tampa, Chicago, Nashville, Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky and Canton, Ohio.
“We are pleased that Integrity Express Logistics has chosen MacroPoint to integrate with its TMS and meet its needs for highly accurate freight visibility,” said Dave Halsema, executive vice president of MacroPoint. “With our innovative technology we can help them grow their business and focus on customer service.”
Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, and founded in 2011, MacroPoint is the provider of a global freight visibility platform for shippers, brokers and third-party logistics companies (3PLs). MacroPoint’s patented, automated load monitoring and tracking software provides real-time load location visibility by using any in-cab ELD/GPS device, smart phone, cell phone, or trailer and container tracking system. The cloud-based solution enables location monitoring and tracking, delivery monitoring and event notifications, and exception management and predictive analytics capabilities. Integrated with a growing number of TMS systems, MacroPoint automates the entire process by eliminating the need for drivers to check in with dispatchers, and for shippers and brokers to check in with carriers. To date, over 1 million drivers and millions of connected trucks are part of the MacroPoint Carrier Visibility Network. Additional information is available at www.macropoint.com.
